I would say the "proper" way to do it is to create a repo for each, and then a central repo that pulls in each as a git submodule. That way someone could opt to pull the whole thing or individual pieces from the central repo. Downside there is that submodules are a little annoying to work with

I found this, which you can use to drop in a link to a specific directory in your repo. It will zip everything in there and download it. Downside is you loose all the git info.
