Multi-component interventions with infrastructural change had greatest impact.

Social/behavioural interventions alone had little impact.

Chief Medical Officerโ€™s annual report 2024: health in cities Professor Whittyโ€™s report outlines a broad range of health opportunities and challenges for city populations, and includes case studies from core cities in England.

"Making walking and cycling more practical and safer would go a long way toward removing barriers to improving physical activity levels and could significantly improve the health of Englandโ€™s increasingly urban population."

Walk:Enabled were thrilled to support the Beyond Boundaries event by @LimbPower!

With warm-ups, strength & conditioning training, and physio reviews.

The event empowered individuals with limb differences to safely stay active through the winter months.

Big thanks to all
