I've dated men with missing teeth, cleft lip, and other things people generally shy away from. I've heard the stories of shallow individuals treating them as less than. I don't want that for my beautiful boy.

The kid had a phantom feeling of something stuck between his fromt teeth today, which he no longer has. My heart breaks daily that he lost his teeth. Idk why this is the hardest part of everything that happened.

Guess who now has ALL the financial burden of getting the motorcycle out of impound and all related costs. Take a guess. I dare ya. The kid still isn't working because he's still in a cast. I know he will help when he can but POS that gave his DNA can't be arsed to do a damn thing.

A few times over the years my youngest has said he plans to buy me a house one day. He told me again yesterday and this time its really sunk in. That is a goal he has set for himself. Its not just talk. He truly intends to make sure I have a house to call my own bc I've always been home to him.

Ours is less than a mile from my house. Fun fact, it was also my first job, my bro in laws first job, and my 19's first job.

Grabbed Arby's for dinner because I worked my ass off today and deserved it. They gave me the wrong food. Went back. Got the right food but my sandwich was made upside down. Ever had a cordon bleu with the ham and cheese UNDER the chicken? Its unnatural.

Pretty cool that not only have I had all the kids bills plus my own, all the missed work, all the stress and frustration, and all physical responsibility taking care of the kid since his accident, now I have the financial responsibility of getting his bike out of impound. Yay. I should have known.

Just got home from the dentist. The kid lost too much bone from the trauma to his mouth and will likely not be able to get permanent implants. I am devastated 💔 😢 The options presented to us are things he does not want to do, including extensive bone graphs, which may or may not take. I'm crushed.

Taking the kid to the cosmetic dentist today to find out if dental implants will be a possibility for him. His regular dentist said no because of how his facial bone broke. Good vibes for my kid. He's 18 and had a phenomenal smile before his accident. I want him to have that back.

In between the rally and the march yesterday my friend and I walked around a quaint little town near us. I wasn't expecting to buy a glass bowl/pipe in the shape of a rubber ducky but it happened.
