Elon has been watching too many Star Trek episodes.

It is a brilliant show. I was planning to rewatch it again this Fall. It never gets old!

He is not well. What an undignified post from a US President. But I guess cringe is his best effort.

Every time I refill a prescription on @costplusdrugs.com, I say “thanks, Mark Cuban!” out loud, then I smile at my own silliness…but the gratitude is real.

My ball-obsessed Aussie insists on front yard “fetch therapy” at least 3x/day, plus a long pasture walk, plus endless indoor fetches w/a soft Chuck-it ball. Busy-brain, high-energy herding dogs are adorable and fun but also exhausting! She relaxes occasionally though, thank the gods.

Don’t hate our country, hate the people responsible for decimating the ideals of its founding. It breaks my heart everyday but while we breathe, we must resist!

Finally listened to ep 5 of Starship Alexandria w/ @aptshadow.bsky.social and @emmanewman.bsky.social. A delightful chat! Reminded me of the entire summer before 7th grade that I spent reading Golden Age Sci-Fi thanks to getting 10 free books for joining Sci-Fi Book Club. Self-indoctrination FTW!

I’m at chapter 13 now and am completely mesmerized. I have soooo many questions right now, even after quite a few tantalizing facts have already been revealed. Delicious!

Using fountain pen inks w/water in a new “rage haiku” journal. They play so nicely! Now to write the haiku…where to even fuckin start…guess I’ll compose a list of 100 rage prompts, then roll a d100 each day to pick one. This might be a more cathartic 100-day art project than I first imagined.

I’m so confident of that, that I already purchased them!

Those ads are great on so many levels…and the desire for KFC chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy is now fueling today’s list of errands!

Not just a really good writer but imaginative in unexpected ways, too, yet nothing seems difficult to believe as you become enmeshed in his well-crafted stories and compelling characters. Highly recommend starting with Children of Time.

Adorable!!! My 12 lb cat and 45 lb dog *still* do this, and the cat always goes for the takedown but the dog has gotten too big. So funny to watch!
