Let's get philosophical!
Many gnolls in the post-predecessor era aren't sure what to do - searching for a new purpose in life, when all they knew was banditry.
Sunrise brings purpose - a chance to learn and search one's soul for their true calling.

Most of the iconography around the Gnollian Sun feature his face or reference gnolls directly in some way, mostly to avoid confusion with sun motifs of other religions of the Realms.

Day 20: Friends
Gnoll societies of old mostly stuck to their own, but in today's age, in order to prosper, making friends with others is the way forward.
The Exyeenient Couriers is a great example of that, bridging physical AND cultural gaps, as the unfortunate sod attacking this wagon has found.

Day 19: Blood
In the cursed era, many gnolls were driven to madness and slaughter - a curse set upon them by the usurper, the demonic predecessor.
Some had it worse than others. Drorrg, in particular, was especially 'favored', to kill and be killed, over and over, in an unending revelry of blood.

Who knew those little legs could move so fast?
Day 18: Rush
The ancestral gnolls had a knack for hunting, and would put on a burst of speed at the pivotal moment to take down their mark.
The gnolls of today in Sunrise can also bear this quality, and the monks especially are known for being fleet of foot, swift to respond to threats and dangers
Day 17: Ritual
For Sunrise, the practice of martial arts is a form of worship. Rituals to bless the arenas in which they take place are common.
Here, Drorrg and his opponent Grepher throw special salts in a sumo ring before a match, to ward away evil spirits.

Day 16: Portal
When the newly-formed Gnollian Sun destroyed his demonic predecessor and freed the gnolls from their damnation, he used his newfound ability to create a portal straight out of the Abyss and back to the normal world, leading the freed gnolls to the first dawn seen in a millennium.

Day 15: Quest
The Gnollian Sun sometimes petitions followers to quest for the betterment of the gnolls. Once in a while, he finds someone interesting enough that the challenge becomes a bit more... direct in nature.

Day 14: Wild
Gnolls have always been excellent hunters, which is something that dates back to even the mostly-forgotten gnoll god who came before the demonic predecessor. Gnolls of Sunrise's era haven't lost their touch, and even a gnoll who's taken to city life knows some wilderness expertise.
