The absence of "𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋" at #COP29 overshadowed the need for unified climate action. While $300 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 annually by 2035 was pledged, it falls short of the $1.3 trillion required. This summit left many, myself included, questioning if COP is still 𝐟𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞.

Just after 2 pm in Azerbaijan.Drafted text has just come out with the update of $250 billion by 2035 from to the global south. Much still to discuss. Poor presidency, with oil nations opposing any mention of "transition from fossil fuels".
