It may be dated but if you have option, Resident Evil 1 Director's Cut for PS1 is a bit easier to do, but REmake does offer so much additional content, it is mainly the Crimson Head mechanic that took me a while to adjust to.

Fans beg for a game like that in an era where console online play is now common place, unlike the PS2 era, and instead they have just churned out PVP experiences.
