PS: I did the same with World War 1 last year. Read a history, watched 1917, All Quiet on the Western Front 2 versions, Lawrence of Arabia, Gallipoli, War Horse etc. Give it a whirl.

War is hell. Reading a history of World War 2 and watching movies like Thin Red Line, Patton, Longest Day, Stalingrad, Midway, Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, etc at the same time is intense. Give it a whirl.
