Players would have to input a stratagem to have their Super Destroyer(s) engage the ship, temporarily losing access to calldowns and orbital support.

Imagining an Automaton ship that can warp into a mission and start their own bombardment of the Helldivers squad. Giant red laser scorching the planet in pursuit of you. Barrages denying areas. Etc. #Helldivers2

Oooooh, I like how the medical one is still humanoid shaped trooper sized. Feels like it would be imperative to maintain a form like that when dealing with medicine and patients, not get too lost in upgrades and larger forms

Some players have already questioned if the EAT-411 is gonna be able to destroy a Jammer, which I greatly doubt it will, but I think it'd be super funny if the CQC-20 actually had the detonation power #Helldivers2 #Helldivers #JustHelldiverThings

Something like this. Not that I think this is a *better* idea, but just what popped in my head.

Not gonna lie, when I saw the G/SH-39 shield was a "throwable" the first image in my head was a Captain America style shield. 😅

They have more advanced gear than the average bot, and can call down orbital attacks similar to what Helldivers can unleash. They are more accurate and heavily armored than other Automatons their size. If they take damage, they can heal and continue attacking. They can even reinforce if one remains.

*four Automatons Destroyers jump into low orbit*

"Hellbots detected in your area!"

*four hellpods crash onto the map and four agents of the Automatons begin heading towards the nearest Helldiver*

My fan theory about the new teaser is that the Automatons are gonna turn Helldivers into Cyborgs and unleash twisted versions of ourselves on us.

"And then the Cyborgs turned loyal Helldivers into disloyal weapons of massive destructive capabilities! Firing them four at a time into missions to thwart the objectives of Super Earth. They are nothing more than glorified kamikazes as they are driven to unleash their terrible firepower!"

Another new warbond? We are eating good this year, Helldivers!

A burning barrel or a weird vent. Smoke Just pouring out and in a direction for a few meters. Something that obscures vision for Helldivers and enemies alike

It would be cool if smoke was a naturally occurring hazard on maps. Like the mushroom spores but constant.

I think a big part of it is the focus on smaller struggles and personal issues. The big spaceship adventures are fun, but the interpersonal connections and jokes make those stand out
