By my observation, return-to-office mandates have largely been marked by failed climate controls, spotty wifi, and "more important" people hogging meeting rooms, causing chaos to meeting schedules.

There's a consistent pattern in the people who complain the most about #ASE: ENTITLEMENT.

They feel they're more important, for whatever reason, than everyone else, and therefore should not be held accountable to the same standard as everyone else.

Someone suggested that I should be listening to drivers' experience regarding automated speed cameras.

At this point, this is what it takes I think. It's how change happened in the netherlands. There are consequences to detached politics.

Everyone should write their mayor and councillor across Ontario. they need to hear from you. They are often just windsocks and a few constituents making noise will get their attention

Quite predictably, the loudest opponents of speed cameras are the most likely to not want to slow down for school zones. And, will make ridiculous reasons why they should not have to slow down.

I never want to see another human trot across a crosswalk, hurry their stroller/kids/mobility device or rush a senior resident through an intersection or any road. It’s ridiculous, like we’ve been gifted some incredible act of patience and kindness from our auto overlords.

After spending some time driving on camera-enforced motorways with strict real-time variable speed limits, I'm convinced that the average #Ontario driver is a whiny entitled brat.

For the first time ever, London has met legal limits for nitrogen dioxide.

When I became Mayor, we were told it would take 193 years. We did it 184 years earlier than expected.

Cleaner air means a healthier city and big savings for the NHS.

So, I've switched browsers to @brave.com, turned off Alexa and my location sharing, and have re-subscribed to @surfshark.bsky.social.

And my suggestion to anyone, where feasible, is to not share anything you don't have to. The "value exchange" of data sharing is no longer in your favour.

My wife spent a whole day browsing different airlines to,

I know there's been some speculation on this for a little while. But, I'm now noticing that data sharing has become predatory. It's no longer about offering better deals in exchange for data, but rather, exploiting habits for monetary benefit. And I'm noticing it in prices when shopping online.
