Its a lot easier to live with than Type 1, but still a fair bit of work.

Don't forget nuts, bots and the religious. Actually a few people just go about what they were doing before, but this kind of Flood of irrelevant posting appeared. I like those few people, so I've been blocking madly to find them again.

Though I'm furiously territorial, and I have now blocked around 200 nutters, preachers, politicos and possibly Russian bots just so I can see posts from my friends (who are still there.)

I'm thinking either an accidental or adversarial misuse of the algorithm involved.

I have pretty much finished up with X. Yesterday, someone flipped a switch and the whole thing flooded with the ugliest posts I'd ever read, and all the people there I'd liked and respected suddenly couldn't be found. In a sense, I didn't leave it. It simply stopped existing as a thing.

Had to unfollow a couple of people due to the volume of reposting they're doing. They have a lot to say and its worthwhile stuff - but it spammed everybody else out. Was there a posting deadline I hadn't heard of?

Overall, I think some of them are less progressive after the last ten years and have a reasonable claim to suffering vexatious litigation. And then became Republicans. Others are still doing their thing.

Today's a good day for sleeping all day and recovering from a virus. Some parts I'm spending confronting ethical challenges, like bits of history that weren't taught in school, or the OH&S and management issues of SpaceX and Twitter. People often don't care for nuance and that's annoying.

Though, when you think you know what he's about, he changes to do something new, surprising and a bit more effective than you expected.

Today looks like a good day for cutting out material for a handpaw design. I don't have any plans to travel, or commitments, except for some housework and gardening. I'll post a pic a little later.

Actually, very few people want to work like startup business owners, until they're starting a business. Because it takes that bit of OCD craziness shown by people like Elon and an old acquaintance from my youth, who had a soft drink distribution business. That guy - he retired at 30.

I am wildly surprised to be meeting nice people as we set up our growing community here. I work from home and just found I've developed a bit of agoraphobia, so its rarely good to share my world with you.
