07.10.2025 19:45 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Maybe someday I'll do a panel at a con about Community.
I can't think of what I'd say to fill time after saying "Set standards. If people don't meet them get rid of them. Especially if they're not *technically* breaking any rules, but constantly cause you to review their behavior."
I've been trying to write a blog post about the Timescape wiki for 9 months now...

Games For Raices starts this Saturday October 11th and it's going to be amazing!
We will have Kids on Brooms, Draw Steel and Daggerheart and we will be raising funds for @raicestexas.bsky.social
We will also have Giveaways thanks to the awesome folks at @hellomcdm.bsky.social
Two things you need to know about Daggerheart.
1) Daggers
...don't say that please
05.10.2025 06:23 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Kinda. You should always be at 0 hearts before leveling up or using a heal scroll, yes.
However, using the healing scrolls in late game is maximizing their effectiveness, as they will essentially be giving you more hearts. So doing things to gain more XP without taking damage is important early on.
Win screen of DungeonSweeper. Score: 365 (max 365). An achievement stamp is shown as well.
Took me a couple games to figure out all the changes since v1.0, but I managed to get a full board clear!
Will have to snag the other achievements in the future.

I'll have to catch the VOD

03.10.2025 04:04 — 👍 14 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0Hello draw steel followers. I am currently sitting on a draft warfare system for DS and have started to think about making it a paid release (with MCDMs blessing). Once Dark Heart of the Wood wraps, would you like that? Is there interest in that being a thing next year? (I’ll probably do it anyway)

But BBC's Robin Hood series informed my sense of justice.
We will be raising money for Raices Texas via tiltify and you can start donating right now!

I can't wait to see what @ghostofezekiel.bsky.social throws at us. Hopefully not Ajax...
Be sure to tune in!
Yeah I'm sure they have some reasoning. But it certainly feels like it would have enhanced their stream.
30.09.2025 20:13 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0I love seeing the moment when new Draw Steel players start to *get* it. Never gets old.

24.09.2025 15:32 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0"she lost the connection to all the previous Avatars!"
Those guys were pretty useless 95% of the time. Literally the entire series is built around the fact future avatars have to fix all the problems the old ones made.
I played Silksong for several hours, I've decided I'm done. I had a lot of gripes with the game, and while I do enjoy souls-likes, I think this one was just severely lacking proper QA and also leans too far into the "we just want to make the player suffer" ideology for my taste.

Enya is correct.
I said "fuck" at least 100 times today, does that count?

15.09.2025 19:51 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0How do you always manage to make the most interesting typos?
14.09.2025 04:49 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I find "@silent @everyone" to be more practical than trying to limit the annoyance by using "@here" to limit the notification pool. Because then all the offline people in different timezones miss out on the alert completely when you do @here
13.09.2025 00:03 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Yeah I'm not sure why that feature was/is so hidden away. There's a lot of times you want to ping a big group of people, but not necessarily make everyone's phones go off in their pocket. Just give them a notification dot for them to see at their leisure when they next happen to open the app.
13.09.2025 00:00 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0adding an @silent can help a little! (if it's not time sensitive)
