Utterly hateful. Wonderful work.

Utterly hateful. Wonderful work.
21.11.2024 18:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Take it from me - if you find yourself with leftover chicken on the big day then dip it in egg then breadcrumbs. Fry it in loads of butter. Put the pieces in a sandwich with a lot of mayo and sea salt. Squeeze a lemon into the butter then pour it over the chicken. Eat, enjoy.
20.11.2024 15:18 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The cranberry chutney is the ghost of flavour past. Completely invisible. The ingredients list is pretty horrifying too.
Itβs not exactly disgusting but there is nothing christmassy at all about this slab of sando.
On the tastebuds?
You are welcomed with an immediate hit of raw red cabbage. There is no pickle flavour. Sure, thereβs a bit of ginger, but itβs just odd. There is a tickle of heat from the gochujang but it limps across your tastebuds.
Just looking at the thing is already an experience in the bizarre. Japanese name yet a Korean chili mayonnaise? Has anyone cleared this with the embassies? The bread slices appear to be different colours.
Sadly there is one familiar thing about this sandwich. The return of the wretched spinach.
Their Christmas offer is equally mad. Turkey shawarma in a tortilla wrap or Christmas pasta salad with gravy dip hit the shelves in 2024.
I have opted to start this year of feedback with their flagship festive fancy food - the βChristmas Sando.β
Itβs the principle port of call for sensible polos (or pants).
Recently itβs gone a bit mad. They dared ask questions like βwhat if we covered a custard cream in chocolate?β or βwhat if we made fruit sushi?β
M&S Christmas Sando - My Review
During these troubled times we look for comfort. The familiar. We turn to what we know as an anchor in the storm.
This is a role that M&S has always played well. The first fancy picky bits enjoyed outside means summer has begun.
Really appreciate it thank you

Thanks!
