Eggs are best, so versatile...a staple! here they are in a sandwich with radish leaf pesto spread, sliced 7 minute cooked egg (which is custardy) cabbage/onion slaw and arugula. What's not to love??

I've been paying $10 a dozen for years, directly from the farmer. the old supermarket factory farm egg prices were subsidized. Small farmers are not.

Eggs are half that price at the farmers market...or even less. Best to buy directly from farmers or your neighbors who raise chickens instead of the factory farmed egg markets. Many farmers markets also take snap (aka: food stamps) if that still exists.
