In a Brutal Mississippi Jail, Inmates Say They Were Enlisted as Enforcers High-ranking inmates known as trusties were ordered to do guards’ bidding, former inmates and guards said, and the culture of violence in the jail went straight to the top.

Officials in a Mississippi jail violently abused the people incarcerated there and encouraged other detainees known as “trusties” to join in on the beatings.

Incarcerated people must not face abuse at the hands of the state.

To add onto this, I'd also HIGHLY recommend playing games with no voice acting and reading for all the characters out loud in different voices. You would not believe how much reading dialogue from old Final Fantasy games and the Ace Attorney series helped out in my professional career ^_^
