It's always exciting to receive uncorrected proofs in the post, and I can't wait to dive into these two books that arrived within 24 hours of each other (what are the chances!), but... um... it also feels a bit like pigeons coming home to roost.

Oh gosh, PD, yours is the first comment about the book in the wild that I've seen, what a lovely thing to wake up to. (And I'm really smiling at your use of the word 'devious'. If it means what I think (presume?) it means, then that makes me *very* happy indeed.)

Well this is very exciting - the arrival this morning of the FIFTH Marlow Murder Club book, The Mysterious Affair of Judith Potts. Immediately absorbed onto the bookshelf with her sisters and looking mighty fine.

The Microsoft Word screen that shows that it's done a find and replace but it says 'We Made 12 replacements' as though it has multiple identities.

Since when did Microsoft Word become a distributed array / hive mind / swarm? Is this new or have I just never noticed before that it now thinks it's more than one entity?
