Well this is very exciting - the arrival this morning of the FIFTH Marlow Murder Club book, The Mysterious Affair of Judith Potts. Immediately absorbed onto the bookshelf with her sisters and looking mighty fine.

The Microsoft Word screen that shows that it's done a find and replace but it says 'We Made 12 replacements' as though it has multiple identities.

Since when did Microsoft Word become a distributed array / hive mind / swarm? Is this new or have I just never noticed before that it now thinks it's more than one entity?

Chuffed to bits to see that Murder on the Marlow Belle was won an audiobook award in the USA. Nicolette McKenzie is brilliant as the narrator of the series, and I am never surprised that the books win more awards for how they sound than for how they read.

Just found out that Murder on the Marlow Belle is a USA Today bestseller in the States. Yee, as I'm sure no-one actually says, ha! I have the worst possible answer I'm afraid, and that is.... I made a mistake in the book. Can you believe it? But because The Commissioner in the TV show is always referred to as 'The Commissioner' I completely misremembered his surname. It's a cause of some embarrassment to say the least.
