I’m painting him a pumpkin today at work, I’m hoping to do a crude little flower garden and then get his picture in his costume by his pumpkin. :)

We had a costume party fundraiser at the art museum where I work. I was a beanie baby and my bestie was Ms. Frizzle. We embraced the 90s nostalgia clearly. (Another coworker was the Log Lady from Twin Peaks)

My spot in NARA II is near the windows and I am very sad right now haha.

I do not know how to sew. My mom only really sewed my Girl Scout patches on my vest, so I never really learned. My boss at the textile museum is valiantly trying to teach me; but it’s slow going haha.

my similar boomer opinion is that i think “home economics” or whatever the equivalent is ought to be mandatory for students in middle and high school.

Oh, Aparna I’m so so sorry. I don’t know if it’ll bring you comfort, but one thing I did after my dad passed away was put a recording of his voice in a build a bear - that way whenever I needed to hear it, it was there. I love you so much my dear friend. ❤️
