In 8th grade, I was about to win the Jr. High spelling bee when I got the word Hippopotamus. I was so excited that it was so easy I dropped a p, tried to correct, spelled hipoppopotamus, and lost. THIRTY-FIVE YEARS LATER, a "friend" sent me this out of the blue.

In six years at the museum, I regularly had to sketch horses for a children's program. Never got any better. To the end, they always turned out looking like long, four-legged ducks!

I love that it's "suspected." Like, they're too lazy even to translate it and realize that's really just mostly about sex.

And yet that was STILL one of the best commercials of the night.

I went to the Alex Pretti vigil at the VA down there Wednesday night. You could walk in front of Treasury and up Madison, but it didn't appear the street was open. TBF, it was dark, cold, and blocked by snowcrete, so hard to tell for sure.

Great idea. Looking forward to it!
