Being with my partner for eleven years and starting over is a humbling experience. We are walking around reliving the excitement of being on our own for the first time. Being in a home where we are wanted, loved, and safe... It reminded us that safety is a luxury. And we are safer living alone.

During my practices I use music to channel energy. I found out early on I had a disconnect. I couldn't do energy work without it. I got releases of different music. I picked songs for the type of spell. It helped me go with my gut.

Because I have auditory-tactile synthesia.

When I initiated as a witch I was alone with my gods of choice. I vowed to learn as much as I could about the world around me and to help where I could. It was a great imbolc. I sat in my room and communed. I felt right. I felt such immense gratitude that I could do this. That I could be me.

I have made two blankets, several beanies, a mushroom cap hat and a tulip hat. Currently working on a jacket. Then maybe overalls?

I finger knit, video game, and play DND. I also consider tea a hobby.

When I finally got the courage to tell friends I wasn't a Christian I was 12. I was tired of hiding who I was. I came out as well. Of the broom and rainbow closets.

The first time I heard the call of Odin I was a child. I didn't understand at the time it was him. He gave me the instructions I needed to protect my brother and I during a domestic violence incident. A dream of two ravens telling me to protect him and run. I did. And I'm glad I did.

I remember being terrified of thunderstorms. My dad scooped me up and walked me outside. I protested. But once outside in the warm summer rain and hearing the rumble of thunder... I fell in love. Now, as a full grown adult, I will bolt out the door and play in the rain.

It's a response that makes people think. I used to get up in arms about it. And I used to ignore it. In my perspective neither work. If they think about it and are willing to change their views then they are a human worth my energy. Can't foster change without challenging the definition of good.

I remember when I began seeing spirits. I was 6. I was at the swing set behind our house. A little boy came up to me and began playing with me. He was different because he was a pale shade of blue. I told my mom about blue. She called him imaginary. Told my pagan family and found out he was a ghost.
