first of WTF Nvidia, Second WHY do I have to disable it completely, Why isn't there a way to choose which programs it affects? I do enjoy having shadowplay on for some games so now I will have to turn it on and off all the time to use it in games.

I've been chasing a blender crash related to rendering multiple viewlayer passes for almost a week now..I've tried everything from restructuring shaders to separating it into more passes to try and lower the load...

It was Nvidia overlay the whole time... Disabled it and the crash has disappeared

This whole, Getting COVID like twice a year thing is getting so old... I would get my shots for it but there is always the question "Have you had covid in the past 90 days" Or the other pharmacy asks if I've had it in the past 6 months. and then they recommend not getting it and insurance won't pay

It's like they need me back but are ashamed of it. want to screw me over but know that they left me in a terrible situation. They already barely paid me minimum wage for my state, now they want to get away with paying me even less by calling it "piece work"

And they know no one else will hire me

Dealing with this my self. The company I worked for that fired me in march because they were "Scaling back DEI" Is trying to rehire me as an independent contractor because they "Know I'm struggling"

Dealing with the laser in my mouse dying... Struggling with what to do about replacing it. I've come to be too comfortable with it's layout to find out that almost noone else makes a mouse with an index finger button... One has terrible quality control the other has terrible latency. Once upon a time I was able to recover my account on steam using the serial number of my first physical purchase game on steam. but that was a very long time ago XD Like, longer ago than most steam accounts are younger than that account recovery

I'm of course still working on the other comics. The Oura one should be wrapping up with the last few pages here shortly. some things needed to be made for the last few pages. And Beating the heat is still going well and the new character for that is nearly done too

I have much more emotional attachment to the upcoming comic since it's finally a story based one. Lots of stories I've been working on and wanting to tell for about 4 years now. some of which are nearly a decade old from long before I actually decided to try and make this a reality.

Super excited. I have 3 characters almost done for the big comic. and every character is at least 50% done. One only needs to be painted and most of them are pre weighted for rigging. **Squee** this might actually happen! Everything is finally falling into place now that I have all the skills I need

Looking at the lighting from page 19 and page 20 side by side for the first time and I can't believe how much better everything looks. it was so worth the time it took to remaster everything.

Ahhh..this looks so much better, and it's not guaranteed to crash 75% of the time. though it does take longer to render **Sigh** not everything can be an improvement I guess. Well, I still love Eevee for it's lack of noise and the ability to use hair cards to improve the quality of the fur.

I basically had to strip the whole scene back to bare geometry for the eevee-next update because I had some REALLY weird and archaic shaders running on things. I also converted the characters to the newest fur system and did a remaster pass on all the characters. Sorry it ended up taking a year X_X

Beating the Heat is back!

going to be posting new public pages here tonight. but a warning. Page 20 is the first new page in post remaster so there is a bit of a quality/style change. The colors now are much richer and less washed out and I'm much more happy with it.

I know I'm about at the end of my rope with all of this...wondering if any of my projects are even worth continuing. completely lost any sense of inspiration and motivation. I fear I'm out of time and opportunities to keep trying and I have no idea what I'm going to do. kinda just want to give up

Why does it feel like every time my burnout starts to lift something else entirely outside of my control explodes and messes up more of my life **Sigh** I really want to be getting back to art but I just feel so impossibly tired T_T

On the bright side I'm loving blender 4.5 it's amazing.
