An empty canal channel that leads under a road bridge. The sides of the canal are original and there is a big pipe in the bed of the channel. There is a new wall of concrete blocks being built across the canal.

The rain has hampered bricklaying this week at Gallows Wharf, but our volunteers are still progressing with the base slabs. They are digging out both sides of the big pipe and have two more slabs nearly ready for concreting.
