Its shiny enough of the outside and good enough on the inside I guess. By no means a "Great!" Game but its also not bad by any means either. It could have something to do with the speculation around who the dev is as well, people like that kind of stuff I guess

Ive found it to be pretty middle of the road in comparison to others in the genre, but I think it has some sort of mainstream appeal, vampire survivors is a lot of people's only other experience with it so who knows.
