Public investment in the UK has lagged behind average OECD levels for over two decades.

Oh and don’t say that the goal is to only make it harder for low-skilled migrants. These reforms trigger difficult and expensive processes for all migrants, which particularly discourages skilled migrants who have other options in more welcoming countries just on the other side of the channel.
