جلس هانز في مؤخرة القارب. أخذ مجدافًا ودفع القارب إلى منتصف النهر. كان الماء يتدفق بسرعة و يحملهم معه. لم يكن العمل شاقآ.
يريدون تجاوز قريتهم. أستطاعوا أن يروا الغابة أمامهم. أتت الشمس فى حين بحثهم عن الغابة. المغامرة على وشك البدء.

يبدو أن إكتئابي فصيح جدا فى وصف تفاصيله ، دقيق فى مواعيده ، جاهز بكوابيسه ، لا يحب المأكل و المشرب ، يريد التحرك بخفة متناهية بين أشباح ..
إكتئابي لا يرى سوى نفسه فقط ، زائر ثقيل رغم خفته ، غير معلوم وقت سفره ..

لتقيتُ بعينيه بعد غياب ، كانتا حائرتين ..
وددت ألتقطت صورة لهما ، لكن وجدتُ عيني تائهتين ..
أكان بشرآ هذا أم ملاكآ ! ، لأن ما رأيته أشبه بنجم ساطع هارب من المجرة ..
