Hermes is just a JS engine it won't provide any runtime. the runtime is react native itself.

Yeah, it’s using Hermes, and soon we’ll have static Hermes, which outputs machine code for JavaScript.

Deno isn’t a JavaScript engine; it uses V8 under the hood. I believe there’s a React Native V8 you can use as well.

are there any up-to-date AR libraries for React Native ? or should I use a webview for that

I would say it’s whether you need a web app or not? and also being able to push updates over the air without need for app store approval is also another bonus point for react native

go with react native if
- you already have web devs
- you need a web app as well
