Discovered #blockbench and decided to make a low-poly model of my poncho robot OC. Pretty happy with this since it's my first attempt at low-poly modeling.

The texture on this helmet works really well to hide layer lines and the eyes are mesh to allow for some pretty decent visibility.

Continuing with my last helmet that I have printed is my favorite character of all time. Wolverine! The colors came out great on this one. It is scaled perfectly to fit me. Are there any characters you'd like to see me make? #marvel #cosplay #3dprinting #diy #wolverine

Next helmet is a Spiderman 2099 done in black and white for a more Venom suit feel. I didn't have to post process this one at all and it came out great. It fits me perfectly so I finally got the scale/sizing just right and the texture hides the layer lines. #marvel #3dprinting #cosplay #3dprint #diy

During the resizing of the helm I got the scale wrong on the eyes so there are gaps around the eyes. The painting on this one was also a bit of a paint as trying to get the lines to be black and not bleed everywhere. #marvel #3dprinting #3dprint #diy #maker

Painting a group of bandits would drive me insane. I'd have to name each one, give them a back story, etc...

I had one do the same and it broke the thermistor wire for my Elegoo Neptune 4 Max. Was super annoying at the time.

I absolutely love 3d printing but I am not sure I will ever get into motors and getting movement out of them. Its a huge learning curve

Very nice detail on those prints. What layer height did you use?

The amount of hours put in on that game.

What are you going to program the droid to do? I assume voice lines but any chance it will respond?

I've had to deal with that exactly twice and didn't like either of them. :(

How difficult is it to paint swarms without being self conscious of them all looking the same and/or needing to paint each one differently?

The helmet was printed in all 1 piece for the main part with the extra little bits attached. It being my first full print on the #Elegoo Neptune 4 Max. Lots of sanding, priming and finishing with graphite powder rub. Learned a lot of new skills with this one.

Another helmet during the time when I was binge watching Mandalorian on Disney+. I feel like this helmet is almost a right of passage for every 3d printing hobbyist. #Starwars #3dprinting #mandalorian

Probably the hardest lesson to learn

If you look at the back of the cowl you can still see some of the angled lines from the 3d print and you can easily make out the sections where the plastic broke. Overall, I am quite happy with this being my second helmet ever. #marvel #3dprinting #daredevil

2nd helmet I ever printed was a Dare Devil cowl from the Netflix show. It was printed in 4 pieces. The paint job came out much better but unfortunately the plastic welding didn't survive a fall so there are cracks. I might repair this. #marvel #3dprinting #daredevil

I love the pretty/flexi prints but there is just something about a functional print that makes me happy.

I had never thought of 3d printing a rubber ducky out of TPU. Now I have a goal. Huge TPU DUCKY!

I start some post processing on a few helmets tomorrow. Its not my favorite thing to do but the results are worth it.

I really need to print one of these eventually.

Absolutely love the colors on these. They pop so much.
