Things Nick could have done before resigning. Using his network of contacts to facilitate action to fix the plant, joining the teams that are cleaning up the coastline, providing tangible support for the workers trying to clean up the plant and get it working again. Walking away he gets off easy.

Weather watch Christchurch Sunday morning style. J went to Mass at the pro cathedral on Manchester and there was a skimpily clad working girl in the car park across the road. The wind was so cold by the end of Mass she’d retreated around the corner for some shelter.
