Rural PA suffers another blow: UPMC is pulling labor & delivery services from UPMC-Cole. This leaves SEVEN COUNTIES w/o maternity care, roughly the size of the state of CT. I know the nurses here are really underpaid, and yet they say they can't get enough healthcare professionals up here.

Flying flags half-staff for 30 days after the death of a former president was put in place by President Dwight Eisenhower 70 years ago in 1954 & has been done for every president since that time until this Monday when Mike Johnson will end that tradition at Donald Trump's demand. Gov. Abbott of Texas has already done so. All at the whim of a man with a personal EGO that over-shadows love of America and it's honorable traditions. Just pathetic!
