Problem we’ve got is we know it’ll take weeks and weeks for us to agree both a transfer fee and personal terms with a player of similar quality such a player available at that price exist? How many players who can score 20PL goals in a season are going for £65-70m. Get it done I say and fast.

If we fire a few hundred more staff and raise the ticket prices by another £20 per head we might be able to raise enough cash pay Rashford’s wages for a week or two while he fucks off on loan to another PL club next season.

If he refuses to move he should be left to rot. Not even training with the U21s or U18s (he’d be a horrific influence so shud be nowhere near impressionable young players). Just training on his own if he wants to train and he can run his contract out.

I hope so. He has always seemed very loyal to the club and his comments post Europa final suggests that he wants to stay. I think if he goes it’s at the behest of the club which very much worries me

I think if he does do it will be a club decision and not necessarily his choice. He made comments to that effect after the Europa final. Really worrying if he does go. But the way he’s been talking and the fact he gave the penalty to Eriksen vs Villa suggest to me he at least was planning g to stay

Not massively bothered about Delap. Tbh it always seemed like he disliked us as a club, maybe the city connection. Yes he might prove to be a great signing for Chelsea and £30m is a reasonable fee but he’s unproven. Chelsea can afford to take the risk on him but we can’t.
