The pic on the right shows what I call your True Value whereas in the left is better described as squad value plus in the bank. I don't have a catchy phrase for that though.

It's because when you 'transfer' out players, you lose half of the profit. For example, if you bought Haaland at 14.0 and his value rose to 14.4, when you sell him, you get 14.2. if he was 14.5, you'd still only sell him for 14.4 though for rounding down reasons.

Perhaps the mansion tax could be for those who own more than one home. That way, it might encourage those people to sell, freeing up more properties around the country without forcing people out of their own homes.
