Lynne, this is where the issue lies, way too many people dodge tax. We know billionaires do, but too many people who have a good income do to, the problem is those who make the rules benefit from the gaps in the rules. Scrap PAYE and raise VAT, with zero rate on basics. Want a £1m yacht, 50% VAT.

Define wealthy, I bet I fit, despite paying PAYE for every penny I worked for, usually at 40 or 50%.I haven’t got a million in the bank but still give back 40% of my state pension - but still people who haven’t worked would call me wealthy and want more.
