Reminder to everyone that you do have to clean the filter in your dishwasher. It will get gross very quickly especially if your dishes have a lot of food bits on them when they go in.

Man I'm really bummed about how badly Bungie gutted Destiny's gameplay loop. It's been my go-to game with friends for years and now I hardly want to play it. They killed the power fantasy. No ammo drops; skewed difficulty scaling. Every fight is such a struggle and then you're rewarded with trash.

It does complicate things for sure. Putting on one mod is super easy and basically feels necessary for many builds. With 100 Health investment, it will feel the same as it does now. There are also other healing options among support frames and certain exotics if the changes don't suit you.

Oh no I'm not saying that you have to use it. It's just likely going to be your simplest solution. I don't actually think it'll be too bad considering how many orbs drop and also with there being more overall stat points available to invest into Health.

Basically, what I'm saying is: use Heal Clip.

100 Health stat is equal to the current Recuperation mod (70 healing). Recup now give 15 healing so, if the stat scales linearly, it's equal to ~21 Health stat. That's basically the same as the changed font mod, but worse because you can't overstat. Font is 3x the cost, but on chest armor instead.

So he shoots himself in the foot again by running his mouth. A true classic maneuver lol.

Ahh ok. I've definitely seen him get defensive before especially when his pride is injured. Bad code is always a weird critique to me because I feel like it doesn't matter that much? He doesn't make tutorials and mostly does solo projects. I'd be more concerned if he made banking software.

Yeah we can turn off the water pretty easily because we have a well. Siphoned out the puddles and had somebody come by the day of to replace the broken fitting. Took basically no time to fix.

Dude literally happened to us yesterday. A pipe fitting failed under the house and it was spewing water into the driveway after pooling 6 inches of water under the crawl space door. Hopefully you got yours fixed quickly!

You guys missed Wavesplitter. It can suppress after picking up an orb and has the same broken behavior with the overload trace rifle artifact perk right now.

Absolutely bonkers. I would work so hard for a job with some stability that I also enjoyed. How that's completely unvaluable to a company utterly baffles me.

As someone who has been shuffled from company to company for QA testing contracts (including at Bungie), contractors are the disposable paper towels of employees. I've had nothing but praise from any of my immediate coworkers and it literally never matters. I also bailed on the industry.

I'm stuck between a 1.5 hour long tutorial and a 5 minute tutorial and somehow neither is helping me solve this.

Definitely true. Unfortunately it's not giving me any specific errors. It's returning a 0 instead of a 1 with no feedback as to why from the service I'm connecting to. Checked the documentation for help and I fear that something might be wrong in the project setup that's really hard to pin down.

Very specifically I'm trying to connect Steam leaderboards to my game. I can see the leaderboard, but for some reason trying to upload a score fails every time. It might be too specific, but I'll definitely check. Thanks!

The absolutely most frustrating thing about coding is following a tutorial exactly and having the code still fail. Adding insult to injury, those tutorials always end with "...and now everything should be working!" They really need to start giving troubleshooting tips at the end.

To clarify, I'm not saying you have to ban anybody that has a bad day and makes a scene, but it would be nice to be able to curate my feed or replies by custom user tags like "brings up conspiracy theories under scientific posts" or "drinks raw milk."

What I would give for a social media platform where we could label accounts with minor things "kind of annoying" or "terminally online." I feel like people know exactly how to avoid a platform ban while still being aggressively argumentative and lowering the value of a social space.
