Just watched a video on EV performance on a Saskatoon night (where I went to university) at -35C. Used a lot of battery but the car performed great. And you know, I miss that adventure of waking up to -35C and heading to school and the sound of the snow crunching under your feet.

My fave tip for dev #swiftlang -> Linux, check how your Swift package compiles while on your mac w/ container:

container run -it -c 4 -m 8g \
-v "$(pwd):/src" -w src/ \
swift:6.2 sh -c "swift build"

(runs a Swift 6.2 image, gives it 4CPU and 8GB, mounts your PWD as "src", and builds)

I spent many years in the Eclipse community and was so privileged to be immersed in their passion for building great things and lasting friendships. The last few weeks attending Swift community meetups, I'm seeing that passion again. I feel so at home!

Swift - Java interop I think it’s pretty critical to embed Swift as a server side language. If you can begin a transition incrementally, it’s always easier to move over.

Super cool to see this work, and congrats to Mads!

"I was under duress," Prince Harry explained in an interview with Canadian broadcaster CTV News after apologizing. "There wasn't much choice. I was invited to the Dodgers dugout by the owner. I was doing what I thought was the polite thing to do."

Oh, yeah. Nice. We've been getting the Fan games up here on our TSN radio station. So glad they did. Ben Shulman sounds so much like his dad. Great broadcast too.

Finding I'm spending most of my time on Twitter. Tech influencers I enjoy listening to are there. And as long as I stay on the "Following" tab, I seem to avoid much of the nonsense.

I would be all in on that! Have been many times there in business. The people there are what we aspire to. Unless you’re in the 51st state camp.

When busy at work late into the evening making SwiftPM the best it can be, great to throw up Star Wars A New Hope to remind me what brought me to this game. Can't wait to focus more on Swift Embedded in SwiftPM to get it onto robots like this πŸ˜€ πŸ€– .

loving the swift community rally around #swiftlang as the main hashtag for the language itself. it is so hard sifting through taylor swift and the financial network to engage with yall πŸ˜‚

i think #swiftlang and platform would be cool to see too like #swiftlang #linux

spread the word :)
