Kinda sci-fi novel about creatures that live on the clouds (hence the Cloudsplitter gondola sticker!) featuring themes of human connections to nature and promoting sustainable use of resources!

If you went to college,
1. What was your career goal when you started?

4. What do you do now professionally
1. Performer (stage and screen), teacher
2. Theater and classics

Am I about to take a free college meteorology course to help me write my book about clouds? Maybe

First writing session of 2025! Just another quick library one, but always worth it nonetheless. Think it’s a great resolution to have a finished draft by this time next year, but as long as I’m writing, it doesn’t matter how long it takes.

Best thing about hand writing parts of the story is that I managed to spell silhouette three different ways and I’m not even sure if any of them were right 👀

Well, that’s one ink cartridge gone in service of this story. Right at the end of the scene, too. Funny how things line up sometimes.

I love when I love writing. Part of becoming more productive was killing the idea that I had to write start to finish. I’m in the middle of writing a scene that came to me impulsively, with no regard for where in the book it’s going to go, but now I’m so excited to get there.

You will do readings where no one shows up. You will set up at events and sell no books. Rejection will show up in your inbox again and again. You will say “I wrote a book!” and folks will stay quiet or say “Cool!” and then not buy it. It’s all good. Part of the gig. KEEP AT IT.
