If I started calling the president “Adolf,” one would not say that I had “renamed him Adolf.” He has no more authority to rename DOD than I do him.

To answer your question there are a few words that are from french or Latin in breton and words from breton in french (and some of the nasal vowels are similar) but that's your only vague adventage
