My polling place is 30 miles away so I vote early by mail. I verify the County Clerk's receipt of my ballot. There have been times when I've voted on a Saturday & driven 85 miles to the county seat to do it.

I've got the will & more than one way here in NM. Some folks just don't care about voting.

I'm taking a week off from editing my MS while waiting for my final beta reader's comments. I'm not taking a total break, though, as I feel the need to get serious about at least sketching out ideas for the plot of the fourth book in the series.

Depends on whether you mean published book or just wrote one.
I started making my own books in junior high school I think. I did the text, illustrations, tables of content, covers - all just for the fun of it, not for anyone else to see. I wish I still had them but they're long gone.
