I’m in Toronto. We installed AC in our two story, ductless, 100 yo house a few years back. The blower unit is in a 2nd floor hall closet. The new ductwork goes into the attic, then to ceiling vents in each bedroom. Two ducts, to the ground floor ceiling, were hidden in 2nd floor closets.

Also in the ‘90s, Toronto, there was a radio report of an accident, on my route. I called the station to let them know the road was now clear. They said they knew, but had no other traffic to report, so they kept reporting the traffic accident, that had cleared hours before, to fill the time.
