Interesting. I'm not aware of any data to support the latter (sticking to a plan and outcomes) If anything I'd suggest that the ability to pivot and avoid fixation bias is a good thing. (So maybe variability is good?)

What if you have a continuous night float system (ie day intensivist and night) That's a bit of tension... I suspect, based on personal experience the do less person stands back and allows for more.

Adults only : Assuming not cold or some other extenuating circumstance never more then 30 minutes. Hopefully by this time we have engaged family and if possible they are present. Just imo

If it weren't for the cost of syringes, needles, alcohol swabs, and bandaids I might have been able to buy a latte from the profit$$$. 🤷
