27.09.2025 18:35 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0good reminder that- Money won’t save you from a lump Man, but it's a lot better to cry in your Martha's Vineyard house than in a rusted out '92 Oldsmobile. Still, I think it was refreshingly honest and very well written #strangersbelleburden

thank you @macmillanaudio.bsky.social for the ARC!
Because I loved #katiebishop other book so much, I didn't really care for this one, nothing wrong with it and not a bad book per say, just went in with too high of expectations which is a me problem

05.09.2025 05:04 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Oh sorry! I thought I quoted my text, I liked Full Bloom recently! girls who grew big too is entertaining in audiobook form too
05.09.2025 04:59 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0 Wasn’t sure if #FullBloom was #magicalrealism or just scented delusion, but I had fun.
Whimsical tone, serious drama, unhinged choices, and a solid moral: attention’s a double-edged sword

#kimhooper is officially an icon... don't we all want to run away and start over when our husbands go full lump mode? I mean I'm not married, but I want to run away just talking to your husband soon...jk 😘
05.09.2025 04:34 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Teaching a full load this semester so I haven't had time to physically read as much as before, but did listen to a few #audiobooks that were good enough I didn't want my commute to end...
05.09.2025 04:33 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 1I loved this. Solid #novel featuring #motherambivalence
25.08.2025 21:36 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This was an Amazon first read (so it was "free") with prime and I forgot about it, but I didn't want to do my work and I picked it up again and WOW. #womanontheverge
25.08.2025 21:34 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 1I thought I’d cracked #JodiPicoult formula. Then Leaving Time blindsided me with elephants, grief, a psychic #disastergirl, and a twist so chaotic I wondered if I even knew how to read. If you pick one Picoult, make it this ambush
24.08.2025 20:49 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Oh, I would love to call your work brave, but that's underselling it! There are so many scenes that will forever stay with me now (don't want to spoil them for the 2 people that follow me lol) & tying in Terry Barton & other cultural anchors, it was excellent
23.08.2025 01:13 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Just go get it when it comes out, I finished it in two days @karenpalmer.bsky.social @hachetteaudio.bsky.social #memoir #currentlyreading
22.08.2025 23:35 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The scenes are dark, visceral, and often sickening, but necessary. They force you to sit with the reality that women are told to endure quietly while men and systems cash in on impunity. Palmer doesn’t flinch, and neither should we. Thank you @hachetteaudio.bsky.social for the ARC
22.08.2025 23:34 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 2Her prose is gorgeous, but the content is brutal: a woman ground down by life, men, and the very systems supposedly built to protect her. The police? Useless. The institutions? Complicit.
I loved this @karenpalmer.bsky.social
Loved the ride, hated the crash landing, but I guess that’s America. #novel #currentlyreading
