Now that I have been playing the game, I’ve also been listening to eps of eggplant.show where they do one game per week and one episode per week. More of your style of methodical consumption.

Yeah for sure. I’ve played maybe ten of the games so far. A bunch of them are a bit more arcade-y so they seem better suited for just a few minutes at a time.

I don’t think I’ll be going for “cherry” completion (usually meaning finishing the game with extra restrictions) on any of them.

Survival crafting isn’t my type of genre but I LOVED the Halflife 1 vibes in the tutorial.

Chill music and about five hours to hit credits in Wheel World. Turns out I don’t really want a long racing game. Some performance problems and the itemization is bad but overall a thumbs up from me.

my former colleague wrote up a great summary of refutations to the common reasons to use GenAI / LLMs, and I have to say I agree with all of them.

GW draft deck with Yuna, Titan, and two Fat Chocobos.

After a lot of avoiding white, I latched onto a P1P1 Yuna. Despaired at the lack of summons offered, but the deck got a clean trophy nonetheless. I get what Tidus sees in her. Lots of cards I'd consider sub-par but I was able to pivot between fast and slow games easily.

Enjoyed playing through Crypt Custodian. Sort of a flow-state Zelda game, also similar to Hyper Light Drifter, Children of Mortal, Unsighted. The bosses are way harder than the rest of the game, but fortunately the game has extensive difficulty options.
