Connecting the dots here- DOGE obviously was not about saving 2 trillion dollars. It was all about the data to use it against us and more importantly to track migrants with pinpoint precision.

The remarkable operation, known as Operation
Spider's Web, involved trucks smuggling 117 aerial
drones into Russia and depositing them at the
perimeter of four Russian air bases, NBC News
reports, citing Ukrainian officials. One of those air
bases was 2,500 miles behind Russian borders, deep in Siberia. The drones were then activated and did extraordinary damage to Russian air fleets, as NBC News reports:

While there are differing. accounts on the extent
of the ensuing damage of Sunday's "Spiderweb"

Yesterday's Ukraine Spiderweb Operation is wild! It took 1.5 yrs to plan. Some of the drones were smuggled 2,500 miles deep into Russia, to be deposited beneath the airbases. 🦾

34% of Russia's strategic cruise missile carriers wiped out in a single day. Costing Russia $7 billion dollars. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ”₯

I'm curious- as someone who receives tips on my paycheck, working in a cashless restaurant and for a hotel where gratuities are only on your paycheck, how does "no tax on cash tips only" help me in any way?

What the actual fuck??? Did the president just threaten Bruce Springsteen?

Some would call this flexing, I call it flailing. He's like a rabid dog, baring his teeth and gnashing at everything

They are going to straight up go after Comey to show no one is safe. This is fabricated outrage, which will result in a kangaroo court.

Do Republicans really think that cutting Medicaid and snap for their constituents who largely depend on them is really the best move politically? This seems like a party killer to me, especially when those cuts hit and reality sets in that they don't care about people, just money

16.05.2025 17:17 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Ok, I think this is another litmus test: What will happen to Comey now that the president has interpreted his 8647 as a threat of assassination? And to be clear, in the Biden years there were shirts and posts with 8646 and no interpretation of violence or threat. This is pushing a dangerous narrative

I believe finger wagging and shaming are politically counterproductive . Stand up and fight for our freedoms, for our democracy, yes!But the more we tell people they are bad, the more they resist admitting they were misled. We have more in common than not-hold on to that, and we shall overcome

It just struck me as Trump defied the Supreme Court that when he was sworn in at the inauguration he never placed his hand on the Bible. A seeming oversight at the time, could it be his defense for not upholding the constitution?

Dark times ahead.

I had the same thoughts when i watched the 60 Minutes segments about the prison. It was so upsetting and chilling.

I'm sure if Bill Maher had a sit down with Putin he'd find him to be a charming man as well. "...and then Vlad laughed! I didn't know he laughed! So not the guy that murdered all those people. He's got a sense of humor!"

I'm sure he laughs his way all the way to the slaughterhouse. Great job, Bill

It's so sad that they don't even try to hide their law breaking and wrongdoing. What is the line that has to be crossed in order for republicans to have a conscience? The president is openly grifting the country, tweeting Now is the time to buy. Blatent criminality.

I spent the morning crying, watching the 60 minutes segments concerning the deportations to El Salvador. 75% of those deported had no criminal record and they were treated like animals. Absolutely horrific. I'm shaken to the core.

The skuttlebutt on the street says the almighty prezzie is dumping Elon after the big Wisconsin loss. Awesome!

But...didn't he download all of the systems of every government agency??? Isn't that worrisome, especially with no guardrails in the government anymore???
Just saying...

So many goood things about yesterday- Rock star Cory Booker, the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, the headway The dems made in FL with slimmer margins between candidates. But I'm really concerned about the erasing of Heather's Cox Richardson from Facebook.
