exactly! i wouldn’t necessarily even mind it as much if like 90% of the plant based stuff wasn’t full of gluten as well

important to note that most plant based alternatives available are also NOT gluten free!

it is genuinely infuriating especially considering how that is for the most part a lifestyle choice

my local supermarket has an entire free from fridge. the catch is that every shelf is exclusively for plant based food except for the three meagre shelvea which are for gluten free items

i’m 100% certain this was a visual reference for that! (and alex thomson’s cinematography work in general) — it’s very dreamlike and not necessarily something frank darabont would have brought in from his previous work so i reckon it was a visual reference maybe even from the scripts
