My family was renting to own a house with the contract stating we paid payments to the owner and he paid property taxes. He hasn’t paid them since 2022 and the house has been sold and now we need to vacate. We need help finding a place to live, I have some money put back but 🧵

life sucks and then you die

Roof leaking in several parts and sagging on the porch - refused to repair. No ventilation in the kitchen. No working smoke detectors or co2 monitors

To give more background, we’ve been paying house payments since 2020. Not a dime of taxes has been paid. It’s infuriating that we’re losing our home to someone’s carelessness. Our well has been broken since last summer and he refused to fix it or pay to fix it. No running water for a YEAR

It’s not nearly enough. Fees are 1590, I have 500 saved. If anyone can help at all that would be amazing, or just a share. My options for sending are below
