Why is it that the people who are giving the most are some of the ones who have the least to give? Most of our population is generous. Most of the resources are controlled by the selfish.

I guess technically I've known about it for 24 years or so.

My 20 year college reunion is next week, and I was first notified of it *last week.* I know I went to a small school, but it's been 20 years; do they really not think their alumni have spread their wings enough to need more than 2 weeks' notice for a major event?

Was told to arrive 15 min early for a 245 appt. Arrived at 215 because I'm like that. Was told I was 45 minutes early for my 3pm appt. (Confirmation email says 2:45). It's 10 past 3 and I'm still in the waiting room. 🙄

Toby: Didn't you wipe something on my shoulder just now?

Last night at my game, we sang happy birthday to one of our regulars, who just turned 94. He plays every Monday night with his 70-year-old little boy :)

The UK coach for the women's Eurobasket team is named Anna Montanana and as someone else with a rhyme-y name, I wonder if she insists on pronouncing those vowel sounds differently.

I swear I didn't plan it this way, but it's cool that my playlist chose BNL's "Brian Wilson" for the end of tonight's game.

Honestly it was probably toilet paper. I imagine yarn deliveries are signature required.

Never been more tempted to be a porch pirate than this morning when I walked past the large package in front of the yarn store that doesn't open for 2 hours. But I kept walking.

I went to the splash pad with my neighbor and kids, but had to leave before them to get ready for bridge. A soaking wet adult is a much more questionable sight than if I had kids with me.

I also thought cat, but I specifically avoid movies with animals because what if those animals die? I don't need that kind of sadness in my entertainment. Anyway @jkpolk.bsky.social , what movie was it? :P
