Situated in the Louvre in Abu Dhabi this is a bronze tree created by the Italian artist Giuseppe Penone. It is called ‘Leaves of Light’ and the installation rises towards the roof where it reflects the sunlight.

‘The Samphire Seeker’. Searching along the edge of the mud flats at low tide this looks like a back breaking task, but this is an ideal habitat for the marsh samphire. It is often steamed and buttered before being added to seafood.

On safari in Kenya 2022. This elephant was quite close to our vehicle and clearly keeping a close eye on us as if to say ‘I’ve got my eye on you’. It wasn’t threatening - just wary.
