I don’t come across Redwall until high school but I absolutely devoured them!

Redwall!!! The West Passage has been on my TBR for a long time. It sounds so interesting I just haven’t picked it up yet. 😆

to brush the snow
off the roofs of their cars,

and as I looked
at his maskless face
I simply replied: “how true.”

lol this time! 😆 but I totally get “discarding the remnants of a belief system,” that is actually more accurate to my own experience than trauma, and I think at least as interesting as the trauma.

Mine’s about a society that lives completely indoors, are completely controlled, and no one knows it. MC starts to figure things out, and well shenanigans ensue.

Yes! I love a good novella but always leave wanting more!

Ooo #1 sounds so good especially with the religious trauma that surrounds to many queer identities!

I have a 12-year-old dystopian/sci-fi I'm picking up again and dusting off. It doesn't have an ending, and I wrote it before I came out so it definitely needs to be more queer.

Honestly you can’t go wrong with either! You Weren’t Meant to be Human is like one of his YAs turned up to 11. Compound Fracture had such a pervasive feeling of dread, like something old go wrong at any moment, which is why I felt like it’s the most intense of the YAs.

OMG so good! I can’t wait to read the sequel!
