Playoff baseball is the best. It's just pitcher versus batter, two individuals matched up, over and over. Every ball in play is an epic adventure where anything might happen, and each pitch gives the drama room to breathe. Wish it was my team there again. There's nothing like it.

I say this with no endorsement of Ronald Reagan the man or the president. My adult life has been learning empathy and growing beyond how I was raised. But it's still shocking to see that party abandon even the worthy principles it once had.

I was born in the 80s and grew up in a Republican family. The idea that a sitting Republican president would fill his diaper over a true and accurate recording of Ronald Reagan would have been inconceivable for most of my life. That party has become truly lost.

My wife in elementary ed also explained this well. We recognize kids at one end of the distribution need special services and support. It follows that kids at the other end are just as differentiated and need specialized services as well.

The president just gathered the highest ranking officers in the military to tell them that he may order them to kill American citizens -- and that they better follow his orders. All in response to a series of crises that have no basis in reality.

Definitely Last Judge took me longest thus far. But what's great about Silksong, and HK before, the patterns are all there to be learned. My only issues are 1) optimal distance often results with the boss being off screen. 2) hit boxes can be weird, taking hits I shouldn't and not landing my hit.

it is always worth remembering that vance made a conscious decision to be a person of low character. he has eagerly contorted himself into evil for the sake of what amounts to a whiff of power.

Ok. Yeah. I was holding a grudge for those wildly unnecessary props and the delay they caused, but this Carolina Crown show is killer. Powerful, aggressive horn book, and the corps is on the move throughout. I thought this was just another Crown BOA show at first, but I'm digging what it became.

Vance is the most inauthentic and disingenuous person I've seen. Politicians lie; he reinvents history to gaslight you. He lies like he's the smartest person in the room. Actual smart people call him out. Doesn't matter. It's the lie that's important. Orwell's Squealer brought to life.

We've had mass shootings my entire adult life. Most always young, white, cis men. Republicans never before took any action beyond sending thoughts and prayers. But now they're mobilizing, only when this particular shooter's identity gives an opportunity to press their bigoted cause. Unbelievable.

The screen grab here is disgusting. Trans folks are not a threat. They are friends and coworkers, people living their lives the best they can, just like everyone else. Trans rights are human rights.

Yeah, this audio track will get heavy play. Lots of great riffs and sounds unlike anyone else. Not all of it works in setting where precision is the point, but still a good time.

I adore the ending to Boom from Boston Crusaders. Just a confident anthem to close out the show. It's a statement that says we know we have something special here, and we're bringing it home right now.

No connection to the corps, just a fan who's been attending shows since 2000. For myself, I was pulling for BAC both because it's always thrilling when a new face climbs to the top and because I've genuinely loved their shows, especially the past ten years or so.

Damn, Bluecoats with a heck of a performance as well. The way they play with timing still isn't quite working for me, especially out here on the 15, but that performance is undeniable. When they groove, they groove.

Whatever happens, Boston, that was a championship show and performance.

Heck yeah Boston! I'd be thrilled to see them get their first gold. Tight scores across the board. Been a few years since we've had so many slots still competitive. Saturday night is going to be a lot of fun.

It might grow on me. Like with last year's show. I started more impressed than excited or moved, but found I kept coming back to it. I was hooked. I'm coming back to this year's audio but the show itself feels overproduced, as most of their shows of this decade.
