Thanksgiving is fraught with stress and family conflict. Christmas comes with emotional baggage and seasonal depression. Halloween, with its demonic vibes and satanic imagery, is the only one that's just pure unadulterated fun.

It is slightly after 10 PM and I just had about 8 or 9 kids come to my door (even though my light was out). The doorbell completely startled me. They were very nice and wanted as much candy as possible. Anyhow, my candy bowls are now nearly empty and I made some kids very happy. :^)

I honestly don't get people who dislike Halloween.

Haven't had a kid in over 15 minutes. I hope the night isn't over already.

(Also, one of the kids was wearing a LOT of lotion. I can still smell it in my house, even though the kid never came inside.)

Three girls (maybe 12 or 13 years old) came by in what looked to be warm and comfy animal costumes. They were giggling the whole time. They only took a few pieces of candy, but seemed to be having a good time.
