80 yrs ago today, the Soviet army freed ~7K prisoners from Auschwitz, the nazi extermination camp. Sadly, this moment came too late for over 1 million victims. I keep looking at this pic & wondering “How far away are we from history repeating itself?” I hope it’s far away but it feels way too close.

@bethanyincbr.bsky.social Yes. We shouldn’t have to wait to feel the pain in our wallets. If we truly are one in body, the pain of our siblings should evoke tears from our eyes and cries for mercy from our mouths.

Absolutely! “…the members of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable.” (1 Cor 12:22b) As ICE begins to target migrants across our nation, we’re going to learn just how “indispensable” these people are, as they stop showing up to plant, harvest, and process the crops that feed our nation.
