They have been trying to declare martial law for months. They were counting on protests becoming violent so they could make it happen. Since the vast majority of protests have been peaceful, they're now manufacturing problems and declaring war on a philosophy to justify it.

Beyond all of the usual ridiculousness, I just cannot get over the fact that the press conference was scheduled to address the (incorrect) claims about acetaminophen.

Yet, he could not pronounce "acetaminophen" - THE VERY SUBJECT OF THE PRESS CONFERENCE.

In his defense, it's difficult to look at the bottle and practice saying the word while chomping on the children's fruity chewable tablets.
